Friday Morning Conference, September 28

Hi Everyone:

Audrey Pettifor, Epidemiologist, will be speaking at the CFAR Friday Morning Conference on September 28, 2007. The meeting will be held in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center Auditorium at 8:30 a.m. Light breakfast and refreshments will be provided.

"Sometimes I Cry" Production

CUAB and the Kappa Omicron Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. present "Sometimes I Cry": the loves, lives, and losses of women affected by HIV/AIDS as performed and written by Sheryl Lee Ralph.

The play will be held on Monday, October 15th at 7pm in UNC's Memorial Hall. This amazing performance was made possible by generous contributions from the UNC Center for AIDS Research, Carolina Union Activities Board, the Kappa Omicron Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Counseling and Wellness Services, Carolina Women's Center, UNC-CH NAACP, Sonja Hanes Stone Center for Black Culture and History, and Late Night Carolina.

Tickets will be free to students and $5 for the general public. Student tickets will be available with a onecard starting Tuesday, October 2nd. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Monday, October 8th and can be purchased either over the phone by calling the Memorial Hall Box Office (919) 843-3333, or in person.

9-18-07 CAB MEETING UPDATE

Hello CAB Members:

Just an update, our CAB Meeting has grown this time around and we had to switch conference rooms to accomodate our numbers.

The NEW meeting location is in the Breeland Conference Room, 1080 Old Dental Building in the School of Dentistry here at UNC - Chapel Hill.
